1) We like to listen to things we want to hear, even though we know it's a lie. Although we have evolved and modernised, our thinking, and perhaps the way we think are still very primitive. Just like animals, we like to be in a group. The herd instinct....
Sales person are always taught "見人說人話, 見鬼說鬼話." Whatever u like to hear, they'll say it. And once that person hear the things they wanted to hear, they'll subconsciously accept u to be "in their gang".
2) We like to find excuses. We like to blame the whole world except ourselves. We blame the stone on the floor that cause us to trip instead of blaming ourselves for not looking. We blame the teacher setting such a difficult test instead of us not studying hard. We blame our bosses for not increasing our pay instead of us not upgrading ourselves. We even blame the god for not letting us win lottery when we did not even buy a lottery ticket. It's easier to point finger and blame other things. Cos it's easier to play the victim. Victims dun need to do anything...
3) We always hope, hope and hope. We want something from nothing. We want to be promoted, but dun wan to put in extra effort. We want extra cash every month, but dun want to find an alternative source of income.
