I feel that people should be paid according to how hard and how much they work. It makes no sense of a standard salary and expect people to work hard for it. They will think "Why do I have to work hard when I still get the same pay? I might as well do as little as possible. After all, the pay is the same."

A standard pay makes people lazy. On top of that, it gets them into the comfort zone and refuse to look outside of the zone. It makes them greedy- wanting pay increment without doing much in return. It gives them the excuse of tiredness, so as to procrastinate. It cause them to stop thinking of themselves.

When things happen, they seek comfort with their fellow colleagues, and said to each other, "there's nothing I can do", without realising that ample opportunities had been in front of them before, just that they're afraid to step out of the comfort zone, and so miss the boat.

Made a life changing decision recently. I guess  it is bigger than getting married, bigger than buying a house. Was very disturbed by it.

I know that it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. If I miss this boat, I may regret it for life. If I miss this boat, there may not be another of such opportunity again. However, due to a lack of fund, I decided to give it a miss.

Perhaps someone up there knows what I want and made the person in charge of this thing decide migrate his server and thus some of his email were lost. So he called us one by one and I told him that I decided to give it a miss as I don't have enough money to go into this venture. Then he said that there is another person who have the same problem and ask us to link up to raise the fund to go into this and I gladly agree. I went home and told my dad and he gets interested and decided to chip in the funds and so, both of us went into this venture.

I tend to feel that sometimes life is so amazing. This move that I did, may be life changing. We are what we are because of the tiny things we did in the past. And what we do now, will lead us to where we will be in future...

Initially I was thinking of giving it a miss as firstly, lack of fund, secondly, if I go into this, my cash will be so low that it's beyond my comfort zone. Thirdly, by the time i reap the harvest, I'll be 38. But thinking of it from another angle, in order to grow, we must withstand the discomfort. If I don't go into this venture, at 38 years old, I'll be thinking "If only I went in last time"... Perhaps there's a saying "If not now, then when?"
